People First.
Athletes Always.
Beyond the Game Project supports student-athlete mental health, emotional wellness, resilience, and well-being through education, advocacy, awareness, positive leadership, community, and access to resources.
The reason this became personal.
Hanna is a committed student-athlete who loves competing, being part of a team, and working toward difficult goals. During one season, she experienced a coaching environment that became emotionally difficult and changed the way our family thought about athlete well-being.
We intentionally keep the details vague. Beyond the Game was never created to target a particular person, team, or school. The experience simply made something very clear: young athletes need adults and systems that recognize the person behind the performance.
That idea became the starting point for Beyond the Game Project.
Advocacy
Encourage healthy, respectful athletic environments where athletes can speak up and be heard.
Education
Share practical information for athletes, parents, coaches, and community leaders.
Community
Bring people together around a simple idea: athletes are people first.
You matter beyond the game.
Success in sports should never require a young person to ignore their mental health, lose their voice, or believe their worth depends on performance.
